Overflow Condition

What Your Machine Is Actually Telling You
F09 means the overflow protection activated — water exceeded the maximum safe threshold. The CCU detected water level above the limit set by the pressure sensor.
This is an emergency code. The machine will attempt to drain.
Common causes:
1. Inlet valve stuck open (35%) — solenoid jammed.
2. Pressure sensor fault (20%) — false low reading allows overfill.
3. CCU valve relay (10%) — stuck ON.
4. Siphoning (10%) — drain hose acting as siphon.
5. Pressure tube clogged (10%) — can't sense level.
6. Excessive suds (10%) — foam fools sensor.
7. Residual from last cycle (5%).

What You're Probably Seeing Right Now
- Water level visibly high through door.
- Machine draining continuously.
- Water still entering despite error.
- Water on the floor.
DIY Fix — From Easiest to Hardest
1
Turn Off Water (Immediately)
1. Close BOTH taps behind washer.
2. Let machine drain.
3. Mop up any overflow.
2. Let machine drain.
3. Mop up any overflow.
2
Check for Siphoning (3 minutes)
1. Drain hose needs air gap at standpipe.
2. Max 6-8 inches inserted.
3. Standpipe height: 24-36 inches.
2. Max 6-8 inches inserted.
3. Standpipe height: 24-36 inches.
3
Test Inlet Valve (5 minutes)
With taps closed:
1. Unplug.
2. Open taps — does water enter machine?
3. Yes = valve stuck open, replace ($25-60).
4. No = electrical issue.

4
Check Pressure System (10 minutes)
1. Remove top panel.
2. Check pressure tube — clear?
3. Blow test — air passes freely?
4. Test pressure switch — click on blow?
